Wilderness Youth Camp

This project arose from a partnership between Paul Smith's College and Adirondack Leadership Expeditions to create a self-sufficient youth camp in a remote wilderness location. Important elements of the design were low environmental impact and safety features for at-risk youths. The permitting process was complex and involved many municipal and state regulatory agencies.

The success of the project came from the integration of the diverse needs of the many stakeholders.
